Registered Psychologist MAPS
Jodi has been in practice as a registered psychologist since 1999 and as an Art Therapist since 2016. Jodi has worked extensively in the Victorian Education system working directly with both children and families to provide assessments and interventions.
Following twenty-one years with the Education Department Jodi decided to follow her passion for art therapy so that she could work therapeutically with children in the community on an individual basis.
Jodi is focused on providing client centred services underpinned by trauma informed theory, psychodynamic theory, acceptance commitment theory, cognitive behaviour theory and mindfulness. Art therapy coupled with psychological theory forms a very unique practice approach, with art therapy techniques and materials carefully chosen to provide maximum benefit for each client.
